Class will focus on calming the mind as we release tension in the body. This is a slower paced class using props to achieve a deep stretch throughout the body. The end of this class offers an extended guided meditation to end a relaxing class. This is a great class for an athlete, an experienced yogi, or a beginner!
This gentle vinyasa yoga class begins with a ceremonial-grade Cacao to open the heart and enhance mood. The slow and deliberate vinyasa flow is focused on releasing tension and cultivating mindfulness. The class ends with a guided meditation or relaxation, leaving participants with a deep sense of calm and inner peace.
Consider this class your morning cup of Joe. An invigorating series of asanas, focused on our solar plexus, throat, and third eye chakras, intended to wake up the body, and set your day up to be full of both mental and physical energy.
Hatha Yoga is a challenging but slower paced class than a vinyasa class focusing on awareness, breathing, stillness, movement, balance, and fortification.
Power yoga classes are a strong moving flow that cultivate balance, stability, flexibility, and vigor. Breath awareness and coordination are carried throughout the practice as the asana (poses) ebbs and flows between effort and ease. Modifications are offered for newer and advanced students.
This class is a mix of Hatha and Vinyasa Flow to strengthen and engage the body and mind, mixed with mindful alignment and the occasional Yin or restorative posture to drop you into a deeper place of stillness. There will be doses of challenge, but always with lots of laughter, fun music, and encouragement to find a place that respects your intelligent journey.
This class is for all levels and will include movement synched with the breath, as well as opportunities for stillness and reflection.
Conscious movement connected to your breath. A wise progression of postures linked with breath. This class includes less of a flow than our vinyasa flow class, incorporating longer holds of poses allowing you to tap into the more subtle elements of the body.
An energizing flow used to cultivate breath and body awareness while building heat, strength and flexibility.
Slow Flow is a class designed to wind down from the day, from flow to stillness. You’ll sweat, stretch and strengthen -followed by a juicy surrender in savasana.
Did you know that heat promotes healing? Our goal in this class is an active recovery, through a series of asanas, that are intended to warm up the body, deepen the stretch, and enhance muscle repair.
Yin is a bit more than a “choreographed nap”, but just a very little bit more. It is all about surrendering and giving your body the time and space to heal itself. By holding gentle poses for 2-5 minutes, you can get into the connective tissues around a joint. The practice of Yin is all about surrendering, not only your body, but also your mind. Holding these poses for this extended amount of time helps you practice being in the present, calmness, and self-compassion. Not to mention it will help you have an excellent nights sleep!
Whether you are new to yoga or a well seasoned yogi, this class is for you! A vinyasa based class with more explanation of poses, alignment, and breaking down of movements. You will gain understanding of alignment and class themes will cover the foundations of yoga beyond just the poses!
