Co-owner of Ambient and manager of the yoga studio. Chelsea has been teaching yoga for over 7 years both on island and around the US. She loves connecting with students who see yoga as unaccessable and creating a supportive experience for all in class! She was drawn to yoga to help manage her cystic fibrosis, a lung disease she has had since birth. Through this, she discovered the profound healing that yoga can provide beyond physical strength. Trained in vinyasa, yoga nidra, flexibility training, breathwork, and more she empowers her students to find what yoga means to them!

On a whim, a little over 6 years ago, I walked into a hot power yoga studio. I placed my mat perfectly between the stickers marking where to go, settled in for what was to be the hardest physical yoga class I had ever taken, and I was hooked! Years later I still look back on that class as a moment of transformation in my life. A 500 hour vinyasa training, countless classes both taught and taken, and I still love the practice as much as I did that first time I stepped onto my mat. For the past 3 years it has been such a joy for me to be able to share that feeling with the students I am blessed to teach.

I started practicing yoga over 15 years ago after a serious sports injury and fell in love. It’s continued to help me grow stronger, more flexible and fearless, both on and off my mat. Yoga inspires me to live every moment in the present - to be and stay in the now. I completed my 200 hour Vinyasa Power training with Corepower Yoga and my 200 hour advanced training with Multistyle Yoga School International. I am a forever student of the practice and am deeply grateful for the loving wisdom my teachers have shared with me. In my classes, I love to combine creative sequencing, a spirit of playfulness and a dose of inspiration to help deepen your practice. I strive to create a space that allows students to explore the mind, body and soul through yoga, and my hope is that you step off the mat feeling refreshed, balanced and empowered.

Caroline is a compassionate yoga teacher with an enthusiasm for celebrating her students' individuality. At the age of thirteen she attended her first yoga class and was intrigued not just by the physical movement but stillness of the mind yoga creates. She became devoted to the practice in her early twenties and completed her 200 YTT with Selena Gerfino yoga in 2018. Yoga has led Caroline down a path of self-discovery, self-empowerment and self-love. Her classes support students in creating both physical and emotional strength and peace. Yoga has taught Caroline that everything you will ever need is already within you, and she enjoys instilling this message to students through her classes.
I am an Ashtanga Yoga certified teacher since 2014, when my yoga path started; inspired by my mother who at 60y started doing yoga for the first time after being diagnosed with cancer. Yoga has helped me navigate and help other navigate through the rapids of life. It has also bring unity and discipline, healing and compassion.

Namaste.

I was introduced to yoga as I was taking off on a fast paced corporate television career. I would dance with yoga when I felt tired, burnt out, and in need of something more meaningful. Three years ago, yoga and I decided to become permanent dance partners. I came into the presence of incredible teachers and understood yoga was a way of living, not a workout, not a perfect headstand, but a solid way forward using self inquiry using the tools within me. Yoga is now the center. The base. My starting point each day. I completed my 200 hr training in 2021 and have been teaching both in person and online weekly. My classes weave in the core teachings of the my training: Presence, Integration, Breath, Rhythm & Stillness. By working through foundational core actions in the body, students are offered a steady and stable way to explore using the tools of body and somatic inquiry as our guide.
Nathan began his yoga Journey more than 10 years ago and credits his practice for bringing him through some difficult transitions and times of poor mental health.
